Biography
Vicki has over 22 years’ experience as a Physiotherapist, 18 years’ experience as a Certified Pilates Practitioner (Australian Pilates Method Association), and is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance) and Certified Yoga Therapist (International Association of Yoga Therapists).
Vicki is a Specialist Sports Physiotherapist (with a sub-specialty in Dance) awarded in 2007 - the highest clinical level of expertise a Physiotherapist in Australia can achieve. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (with Distinction), a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy and a Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy.
Vicki is a highly experienced educator, teaching sports and dance Physiotherapy and Pilates at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Becoming a Specialist Physiotherapist (and Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists) requires successful completion of a rigorous peer examination process, and Vicki has since mentored and examined other Specialist Physiotherapist candidates undertaking this process in both sports and musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
Aside from sports and performing arts injuries, Vicki has particular interest and experience in exercise rehabilitation of chronic and complex pain problems, chronic fatigue and hypermobility (in children and adults).
