Resistance Classes for Strength and Flexibility

There are a number of proven benefits from resistance exercise training including:

Physiotherapists at BodyWise have designed resistance exercise classes to help women and men with, or at risk of these problems. Exercises are clearly and simply explained and you can work to your own level.

Physiotherapists at BodyWise have designed a special exercise class for mature clients to improve flexibility, balance and gain strength. This allows you to travel and go shopping safely.


Exercises are clearly and simply explained and easy to do. You will receive personal guidance from our physiotherapists.


The cost is rebatable from most private health funds.

Special Exercise Classes for Pelvic Floor

Research has demonstrated that pelvic floor exercise taught by physiotherapists cures or markedly reduces stress incontinence in 67% of cases. You may be able to avoid surgery. Many of us neglect these muscles, despite good intentions, and pelvic floor (bladder) problems can arise.
